the valley of wolves
Most of what is known about The Valley of Wolves is enveloped in a hazy grey smear of guesswork. We do know that it's the work of one Graham Vile, who records in a facility known referred to as "the drone womb", location unknown. Upon first listen, the debut "blackness poured from the sky, and darkened the earth" sounds like distant factories churning out unspeakable products into the void. Further inspection begins to reveal minute details grinding across the soundstage, folding in on themselves and disappearing. It helps when the record is cranked up to an overwhelming volume. Reference points such as Sunn O))), Lustmord, and early Delerium are not far off.
solid.grey.sky.recordings is pleased to release this toxic slab of ritual noise, and looks forward to bringing future works of epic blackness into the light of day.
