way back in the year 2010, the valley of wolves performed their only live concert to date, at a noise music festival in san francisco california. while this recording is hardly perfect, it does a good job at showing what could have happened if the band had continued bringing their bleak noise onstage.

since this recording was made so long ago, it features reworked versions of songs from the first LP and EP only. as always, the band proved unpredictable, considering those two recordings are very sparse and dark ambient music; onstage the show featured guitars, bass, synths, and drum machine, accompanied by blinding strobe lights and video wall. the live show certainly stands out as a precursor to the 'obsidian steps into oblivion' album that followed this performance.
