These recordings were made during a late summer trip through Scotland in 2014, with stops in Glasgow, Edinburgh, and across the Isle of Skye.
All recordings were made using a Tascam hard disk recorder and Roland binaural microphones. Edits are minimal — limited to removing wind distortion, mic handling, and other interruptions. Some tracks are left fully intact to preserve the natural ambient environment.
No compression. No mixing. Just the sound of being there.
